BANAN-A-SYNTH
A Mini Synthesizer Perfect For Musical Exploration And Science Experiments
It's just the right shape for a portable synthesizer. Plus, you can use the Banan-a-Synth to create your own keyboard out of real bananas! It's both handy pocket synth for musicans and a STEM device that lets you play with conductivity.
Turn everyday conductive objects into musical notes with the included alligator clips. Just clip things to the touchpad and create a path to ground. Experiment with conductivity and learn what it means to complete a circuit
We went downtown with the Banan-a-Synth and some real bananas. Everyone really enjoyed playing the banana keyboard! I want the synthesizers we make to inspire the next generation, but turns out it's also a ton of fun for grown ups.
We added a special conductivity sensor to the left of the Banan-a-Synth's keyboard. Each key on the keyboard is either on or off, but the effect sensor to is analog. The more it conducts, the stronger your selected sound effect.

Hey, I'm David, the engineer/circuit board designer/programmer/small business owner behind the Banan-a-Synth. This instrument is the result of years of experimenting, learning, and troubleshooting. I've created a custom sound engine, figured out condutivity sensor tech, and managed to fit it all on a banana sized circuit board.
Now that it is starting to work, I can't stop playing it! There's a few details to figure out before we launch this product, but I hope you sign up to know when we're ready. We'll be crowdfunding the Banan-a-Synth, and your support would help so much.
